⚖️Supreme Court Decision June30, 2026⚖️

Yes, we are happy to hear that this Administration’s Executive Order has been overruled by today’s Supreme Court Decision. People who are born here, regardless of their parent’s status, are considered citizens. Essentially, these justices showed they are an independent branch operating as a check and balance.

Here’s where the challenge comes in. Birthright citizenship was a 5-4 Decision. That’s close (too close) and could have gone the other way. Expect this topic to return.

Now, the Supreme Court picked up this election financing case. This other decision is a tricky one for people who don’t have $$$ and access. Apparently, there are no longer donation restrictions for candidates and issues from special interests RIGHT before midterms. This 6-3 vote means that billionaires can donate wherever and as much as they want. That will definitely impact elections across America.

Missouri House District 68’s Summer Teen Book Club (7th-12th grade). When your students read 8 or more (grade level) books between July 1st- August 15th, they will receive a mystery gift from me. I can’t wait to see what books our students are reading while on break!!! Please help me spread the word. Literacy matters and summer brain is real.

Okay so 💥 boom. The Ancient Egyptians called their country Kemet, literally meaning "Black Land": The ancient Egyptian word for black (kem) was derived from the color of the nutrient-rich silt that covered the floodplains. So, essentially the name Kem means I’m black and rich (someone let my credit union know.)

Now, stay with me 📝my momma named me Kem without this previous knowledge. But peep this, I have ancestral roots in Northeastern Africa aka Egypt 🏺 *record scratch. DNA traced my dad’s bloodline back to Ramses the III. Also, my dad couldn’t make inside the hospital on time so he delivered me on the parking lot and he’s been my hero ever since.

Anyway, I was born on June 19 🧑🏽‍🍼aka Black Liberation Day ❤️🖤💚🏺. Long story short, I'm pretty sure I am a queen 👑 and I wish I would have known that a long time ago. Nevertheless, I accept my calling. I am here to deliver my people. Let’s goooooo! ✌🏽😊

Sunday, my meeting with these kidney dialysis specialists reminded me that these hardworking people who focus on helping patients need legislative support. HR 1 aka the big ugly bill will ravage our Medicare/medicaid system. They make look handsome in these photos but don’t let the smoothness fool you. The professionals work hard. To deny their clients based on Medicaid/Medicare work requirements is diabolical.

It is already completely illegal to gender surgery on minors in Missouri! They’re using this lie to make women give up access to abortion/healthcare that you already voted for in 2024.

The Missouri Republican Party wants (unqualified) politicians to decide what medical decisions a woman and her family should make. This lie is unprincipled. The MO GOP doesn’t care what you think, say, or believe. They will work hard and lie to overturn your votes.

In NOVEMBER, vote no on 3.
